Step 4: Paste the URL
Go to the website page you wish to cite and copy the URL.

Paste it into the search bar on EasyBib and click “Search”.

Step 6: What to do with incomplete information.
In some scenarios, you may not be able to find the information required. In these cases, follow these protocols:
Multiple unnamed authors
If there is no author listed, and the article was written by the staff of a website, company, or organization, write “(Website) Staff” in the “First Name” field.
- In this example, we will write “History.com Staff”

No author name
If there is no author name and there is no indication of authors writing on behalf of a website, company, or organization, leave this field blank.

Incomplete publication information
List as many details as are given. If you only have the year of publication, list the year. If you have the year and month, list the year and month.

Step 7: Complete and share the citation
At the bottom of the page, click “Complete Citation”.

Simply hover over the citation and click “Copy Citation” to copy the text.
- If you receive a message telling you to view a sponsored message, click "View Sponsored Message".
